

Linda A. Cronin’s first book of poems, Dream Bones, was
recently published by WordTech Editions (www.wordtechweb.
com/cronin.html). She currently works as a freelance writer and
editor. Her articles on disability and health and wellness have
appeared a number of magazines and newsletters. She is a
member of the editorial staff in poetry of Breath & Shadow, an
online literary journal.
She has received a Vermont Studio Center fellowship. Her poem
“Beyond Our Reach” won an Honorable Mention in the 2010
Allen Ginsberg Poetry Contest while “St. Joseph’s Hospital:
Room 722” won an Honorable Mention in the same contest in
2009. “The Weight of Sorrow” won an Honorable Mention in
Inglis House’s 2010 Poetry Contest.
She has taught poetry workshops as part of The Theater and
Poetry Project and has edited poetry anthologies for local poetry
workshops. She has featured in poetry readings at Barnes &
Noble, Watchung Booksellers, Ringwood Library, Nutley
Library and Vermont Studio Center.
Her poems have appeared in a number of literary magazines
including The Paterson Literary Review, The Journal of New
Jersey Poets, Kaleidoscope, Rattle, The Healing Muse, Lips, and
Kennesaw Review.
Linda has been a lifelong resident of Cedar Grove, NJ. She
received a BA in English and Writing/Psychology from Loyola
University, Maryland. Linda attended the Masters program in
English at Villanova University for a time. She has attended
many workshops and has also worked and studied privately
with several well-known poets.
